Create a book mark with me! 𓇢𓆸

I haven't stumbled upon cute ones like these in a lonng time. I'm ready for a change since mine are very boring (and kinda smelly) ones from the library. I don't know about you, but I don't enjoy the smell of pickles every time I open up my book (I had a scented pickle bookmark...). I think by creating some of these, It'll make me want to open my books more since I will not be doomed by smelly bookmarks every time. If you're willing to spruce up your reading by creating an adorable bookmark, please follow these steps!
Today I'll be using the fox template as an example, but if you'd like to explore other animals, feel free to check out Autumn's website for more details!
⊱✿⊰ Step 1: Make sure you download this template on a plain sheet of white paper. Cut along the lines of the paper so you end up with a square. Make sure you don't cut out the foxes face!
⊱✿⊰ Step 2: Now you fold the paper diagonally to end up with a triangle.
⊱✿⊰ Step 3: Flip the triangle over to reveal a blank side
⊱✿⊰ Step 4: Fold the the 3 corner pieces of the blank triangle to reveal the fox's face. Make sure to crease properly and also make sure the 2 sides of the face line up!
⊱✿⊰ Step 5: Now that we have our creases properly set, we have to open the last fold we did so that we're back to our original triangle. You want to fold the top point of the triangle down. Make sure you only fold the top layer of the paper.
⊱✿⊰ Step 6: Fold a corner of the paper back up again and tuck it into the pocket we just created in step 5. Repeat this step to reveal the fox's face again.
⊱✿⊰ Step 7: Now grab the ears that came with the printed piece of paper, and add glue to the ears. Make sure the glue is on the front side of the ears.
I hope this helped the way it helped me! I'll probably add some type of clear tape to keep the bookmark fresh and prevent it from wearing out.
